Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Swipz, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must meet the minimum age required in your country and be able to enter a binding agreement.

What Swipz provides

Swipz helps you discover restaurants, save places, and record visits. During baseline testing, eligible restaurants are ordered using location, search area, time, selected experience, availability, and a per-deck shuffle. Swipes are recorded for later evaluation but do not personalize the live order.

Hours, prices, menus, photos, videos, ratings, availability, happy-hour details, and distance can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Confirm important information directly with the restaurant before traveling, ordering, or purchasing.

Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, infringe rights, harass people, or submit malicious material.
• Do not probe or bypass authentication, rate limits, security, or service integrity.
• Do not scrape, bulk-download, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse Swipz or provider data.
• Do not use automation or multiple accounts to evade quotas or impose unreasonable cost.

Third-party services

Swipz may link to maps, menus, restaurant websites, identity providers, and other services. Their own terms and privacy practices apply. Restaurant marks, photos, videos, menus, and provider content remain the property of their respective owners.

Google Places photos and related content are subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms and the Google Privacy Policy.

Catalog data includes © OpenStreetMap contributors and Overture Maps Foundation. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Database License, and Overture release and source-specific attribution terms also apply.

Permissions and your account

Restaurant discovery is centered on Kent, Ohio by default during the pilot. Device location is not used for that default discovery view, but you can allow it to preview a route. Notifications are optional. You may sign out or permanently delete your account from Profile.

Swipz may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, respond to law, or address a material violation. Required notice and appeal procedures must be finalized before launch.

Availability, liability, and contact

Features may change or become unavailable. Final warranty disclaimers, liability limits, governing law, dispute procedures, consumer protections, operator identity, and support contact are pending legal approval.
